Gnoti Seauton

“This artwork, ‘Gnoti Seauton,’ arose from the nocturnal wanderings of my mind, a moment when I often contemplate my day, week and past. It brings to life both the joyful moments of my childhood and relationships and the painful experiences, both personal and business. These memories share one common factor: they give me the energy to keep going and pursue my dreams.

For me, it is invaluable to turn inward, to examine whether I remain true to my views and principles, even if they sometimes clash with those of others. I am someone who does not settle for half-measures and I cherish the pursuit of perfection, whether creating a work of art or shaping my life.

Some of my works require extra time to grow in my mind, sometimes up to 12 months before I put them in to a physical form with my hands. Thus, this artwork symbolizes not only introspection, but also the power of persistence and self-expression, through which I actively shape my own future independent of external influences. ‘Gnoti Seauton’ invites reflection on our inner self and reminds us that self-knowledge and self-determination are essential keys to fulfillment and growth.

This artwork embodies not only self-awareness, but also the reflection of our own will. It symbolizestherealization that self-knowledge goes deeper than simply understanding who we are; it also includesrecognizing our inherent free will to choose our own path, free from constraints and confident in our abilityto determine our own destiny. By acknowledging our own free will, we free ourselves from the shackles ofthe past and open the door to a future full of possibilities.”
